Tool 20 – Goal Attainment Scaling
Goal attainment scaling (GAS) is used to determine levels of stakeholder satisfaction with development activities. GAS allows goal progress to be directly tracked and monitors the outputs of community development activities or stakeholder perceptions. The results demonstrate different stakeholders’ perceptions of a shared interest. Tool 20 can be used whenever the views of a group of stakeholders are required on the progress or achievements of a program.
