Tool 19 – Deploy and Monitor Selected Private Security Provider
Private security should provide services that are preventative and defensive. They should not be engaged in activities that are the responsibility of state military or law enforcement authorities.
Private security must maintain high levels of technical and professional expertise, particularly to the use of force and firearms (p90). This tool helps companies fulfil their responsibility to lead and manage the deployment of private security and monitor all private security activities.
